Profile of Broxtowe

The Profile of Broxtowe provides a detailed statistical picture of the Borough. It uses the latest statistics from sources including the office for National Statistics, Government departments, Nottinghamshire County Council, public health agencies and other public sector bodies.

Much of the data used in this publication is presented at the district and ward levels, with the exception of the Indices of Multiple Deprivation, which is presented at the lower super output area (LSOA) level. LSOAs are small areas of broadly consistent population size, each containing approximately 1,500 people. There are 21 wards and 73 LSOAs in Broxtowe.

In compiling this profile, a limited amount of data has been taken from the 2001 Census. Future updates will include data from the 2011 Census.
