Farmers Market

A farmers' market is one in which farmers, growers or producers from a defined local area are present in person to sell their own produce, direct to the public.

All produce sold should have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholder. Because you are buying direct from the producer, you can ask about the production and be assured of the quality and the freshness of the produce on sale.

In Broxtowe, there is currently one farmers' market in operation.

Beeston Farmers' Market

Beeston Farmers' Market takes place on the fourth Friday of each month, from around 9am until around 2pm, at Stoney Street (near the Ten Bell, just off Beeston High Road) in Beeston town centre. The market offers a variety of organic and specialist produce, including pork, lamb, ostrich, fish, cakes, cheese, vegetables, fruit and preserves.

Beeston Farmers' Market is organised by Nottinghamshire Farmers' Markets Association, who can be contacted on 01623 882200.
