As landlords we provide a repair service for council tenants.

Last year, the Repairs and Maintenance Section carried out around 18,000 responsive and planned repairs. During the next year it is one of our objectives to increase the amount of planned maintenance and to reduce the amount of responsive maintenance thereby providing you with a more efficient service.

Requesting a Repair/Reporting a Fault
If your home needs repair work by the council you should contact us as soon as possible. You can request a repair via the online form to the right hand side of the page alternatively you can contact Customer Services between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday) or 8:30am - 4:30pm (Friday only) to discuss your request further. At all other times, please contact us using the the out of hours emergency repairs number (please choose option 3 when prompted).
