Town Centres

Welcome to Broxtowe Town Centres

The Borough of Broxtowe is home to a number of town centres, acting as retail and social destinations for visitors to Beeston, Eastwood, Kimberley and Stapleford, as well areas of employment for many locals. All four main town centres are easily accessible via public transport from Nottingham City Centre and the surrounding residential areas, also benefiting from rail links at Beeston and Toton Station near to Stapleford and M1 motorway access via J26 for Eastwood and Kimberley.

Town Centre Management

Town Centre Management is a coordinated and proactive approach that has been designed to ensure that town and city centres remain attractive. There are now over 500 towns and cities within the UK that are involved in some form of management initiative, which is usually a partnership between the public and private sectors, to create a better living, working and shopping environment for all.

All our main town centres; Beeston, Eastwood, Stapleford and Kimberley are involved in some form of Town Centre Management initiative, which is supported by individual 'Town Teams'.

What are Town Teams?

These are non-political bodies involving local businesses, organisations, town, borough and county council representatives. These stakeholders give their time free of charge, responding directly to issues from the town centre community.
