Derby Woman Guilty of Fly Tipping Offence
25/04/2016 - Kelly Holland, 38, from Whittington Street Allenton, attended a hearing at Nottingham Magistrates Court on 20th April and entered a guilty plea after she failed in her duty of care to ensure that waste she produced was collected by a licensed waste carrier and was suitably disposed of. Miss Holland handed her household waste over to third parties who then fly tipped the waste on to Main Street, Strelley Village.

Bennerley Viaduct Project Boosted
06/04/2016 - Plans to restore and reopen Bennerley Viaduct have received a significant boost thanks to a pledge by Broxtowe Borough Council to allocate up to £20,000 towards the project as part of a match funding arrangement. Sustrans, an environmental charity is actively working with local councils, partners and communities to re-open the viaduct and connect it with the Erewash Valley Trail and other walking and cycling routes.
