Guided Walks
Explore some of the Broxtowe Borough's most stunning locations with one of our guided walks.
Wildlife Walks
These walks are taken at a leisurely pace, and spend time looking at wildlife, so times are given rather than miles/kilometres. Whilst the walks leaders have done their best to estimate the walk times accurately, please note that stops on route might mean that walks take longer than times stated.
Walk and Talk
Walk & Talk is a weekly programme of short walks based in the Eastwood and Kimberley area. They offer the opportunity to improve your health, make friends and have fun. Two trained leaders will be present during the walks. You will need to complete brief health and registration forms before your first walk. If you have any health concerns, you may wish to check with your doctor before taking part. For more information about Walk & Talk please contact the co-ordinator at Kimberley Leisure Centre on 0115 9173366. Everybody is welcome! Walks are free, just turn up on the day.
Industrial Heritage Walks
Broxtowe Borough hosts four of nine walks highlighting the industrial heritage of Nottinghamshire. All walks will, where possible, include a talk by a relevant expert. For fuller information see the Nottinghamshire County Council Guided Walks Leaflet 2004, Or the walks leader: Chris Thompson, Ramblers Association 07719 827808.
