Hatters Tea Shop Now Open

Hatters Tea Shop Interior Our new tea shop, at Durban House, is now open! A traditional quintessential English menu awaits you with beautifully furnished and relaxed surroundings.

Official Opening Sunday 5th September

Join us to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or cup of tea at Hatters grand opening on Sunday 5th September from 11am until 4pm.

About Hatters Tea Shop

The beautifully furnished tea shop, which takes its name from a quote in the writer D.H. Lawrence's 'Lady Chatterley's Lover', offers quintessential English food and speciality cream teas.

Hatters Tea Shop has also launched its delicious breakfast menu, offering a choice of crumpets, muffins with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or traditional bacon butties. Lunchtime specials include Hatters Ploughman's Lunch, homemade soups and Fish and Chip Fridays. Afternoon tea with lots of dainty finger sandwiches, fresh scones, cakes and delicious loose leaf tea is served from 12noon until 4.00pm. Cakes are also available all day alongside a takeaway menu for anyone who's too full to stay!

Hatters Tea Shop will be open Tuesday to Friday and on Sundays from 10.00am till 4.00pm at the Durban House Heritage Centre in Mansfield Road, Eastwood.

Private Functions, Conferences and Weddings 

Hatters Tea Shop will also be providing catering provisions for Durban House's wedding and conference service, with a wide range of catering options available for breakfast meetings, afternoon teas, buffets and three course meals. Please contact Hatters via Durban House for further details.
