Town Centres
Welcome to our town centre pages.
The Borough of Broxtowe is home to a number of retail centres that boast a fantastic range of both national companies and a selection of unique Independent businesses.
The Council are actively involved in working with all businesses to ensure that all of our towns are seen as a great place to live, work and shop.
Town Centre management
Town Centre Management is a coordinated and proactive approach that has been designed to ensure that town and city centres remain attractive.
There are now over 500 towns and cities within the UK that are involved in some form of management initiative which is usually a partnership between the public and private sectors working together to create a better working and shopping environment for all. Broxtowe Borough Council is an associate member of the Association of Town Centre Managers (ATCM)
Most of our main town centres (Beeston, Eastwood, Stapleford and Kimberley) are involved in some form of town centre management initiative that is supported by the Town Centre Management team. These are non-political bodies involving local businesses, organisations and town, borough and county council representatives. These groups are made up of dedicated people who give their time free of charge, responding directly to local issues by local people.
For more information about each of these town centres, please select the appropriate page from the navigation.
