5K - Broxtowe Sport Run & 1K Fun Run

A 5K running/walking race through Bramcote Park. An ideal introduction to running for the young and old. Includes a Children's 1K Fun Run!

An ideal introduction to running for both the young and old. Take part and enjoy a run around the beautiful scenery at Bramcote Park. The race is suitable for those who are new to running or those who are looking for an additional race to take part in.

The race is all off road and takes place on pavements, grass and gravel pathways around the park.

There is also a children's 1K fun run for children aged 5+ to take part in on the evening of the race.

Both races will be chip timed.

Venue	Bramcote Park, Bramcote, Nottingham, NG9 8GE.
Time	Races start from 6.30pm
5K Run Cost	Entry costs to be confirmed.
5k Run Requirements	Aged 15 years or above on the day of the race.
1K Fun Run Cost	Entry costs to be confirmed.
1K Fun Run Requirements	Minimum age of 5 years or above on the day of the race. (All children must be supervised by an adult aged 18+, this adult does not have to participate in the race. Children under the age of 8 must have an adult running with them).

What does the Event Involve?

The 5K Event involves a 5 Kilometre run around Bramcote Park. The run is off road on pavement, grass and gravel pathways around the park.

The Children's 1K Fun Run involves a 1 Kilometre run on pavement, grass and gravel pathways around the park. Adults may run with a child or children may run alone. All children must be supervised by an adult aged 18+ on the day, this adult does not have to participate. Children under the age of 8 years old must have an adult running with them.

What will you need?

For the event you will need comfortable running clothing and trainers/running shoes.

How to Enter?

Online entry will open in January 2011. Applications for entry will also be available to download from the website in 2011.
