There are nine Councillors representing Broxtowe on Nottinghamshire County Council.

MPs

The parliamentary Broxtowe constituency covers the whole of the borough except for Eastwood South, Eastwood North & Greasley and Brinsley, which are part of the Ashfield constituency. The MP for Broxtowe is Ms Anna Soubry, whilst Ms Gloria De Piero is the MP for Ashfield.

MEPs

Broxtowe Borough is part of the European Parliament's East Midlands constituency. MEPs are selected by proportional representation and so all East Midlands MEPs share responsibility for Broxtowe's residents.
