Steve Carr
Liberal Democrat
Councillor Steve Carr was born in 1962 and attended Noel Bake Comprehensive School in Derby until 1980. After completing his A levels, he began working for Natwest.
In 1982 he joined the SDP and became a founder member of the Liberal Democrats.
Steve currently represents Beeston North as a Liberal Democrat and also represents Beeston North and Beeston West on Nottinghamshire County Council. He sits on Broxtowe Borough Council's Housing, Health and Leisure Committee, the Community Safety Forum and is also Chairman of the Review Board.
Steve also chairs Beeston North CAT along with Councillor Andrea Oates.
In his spare time, Steve is an avid Nottingham Forest fan and enjoys gardening.
