Parks & Outdoor Facilities

There are nearly 50 major Parks and Open Spaces managed and maintained by the borough council.

These range from the Green Flag award winning Bramcote Hills Park and Colliers Wood to areas of open space and popular Parks and Recreation Grounds.

Facilities on these sites include:-

Cricket Squares
Tennis Courts
Multi Use Games Areas
Play Areas
Trim Trails
Pavilions

Apart from Open Spaces and Parks, there are several wildlife sites, which may be of interest, also, Cemeteries and closed Churchyards.

There are various hard and soft landscaping projects undertaken by the Parks and Environment Section. These range from tree/shrub planting schemes to creating new play areas and park improvement projects.

Charges for Hire of Parks and Recreation Grounds

If you would like to hold an event on one of the Borough's parks or recreation grounds, please complete and return a Use of Parks Form and we will formally respond to your request. This form can be found on the right hand side.
