How do I get a Broxtowe Leisure Card?

Simply complete the Leisure Card Application Form on the right hand side and hand this in along with proof of identification/ concession to any of the following venues:

Am I entitled to a Concessionary Broxtowe Leisure Card?

When applying for a Broxtowe Leisure Card, the following concession categories apply:

Full Time Students over 16yrs
People of State Pension Age
People in receipt of Incapacity Benefit
People in receipt of Disability Living Allowance
People in receipt of Industrial Injuries Benefit
People in receipt of Severe Disablement Allowance
People in receipt of Income Support
People in Receipt of Job Seekers Allowance
People in receipt of Employment and Support Allowance
People in receipt of Carer's Allowance

The following concessionary categories are available to residents of Broxtowe Borough Council

Looked After Children (0 - 15yrs)
After Care Pathway (16 - 24yrs)
Carer of Child (Child Looked After)

Broxtowe Leisure Card Terms and Conditions

The Broxtowe Leisure Card is at all times the property of Broxtowe Borough Council and must be surrendered to the council on demand.
The Broxtowe Leisure Card is annually renewable. It is valid from the date of issue and eligibility criteria must be revalidated at renewal.
The Broxtowe Leisure Card is not transferable and must be used only by the person for whom it was issued.
All changes to personal details must be disclosed to Broxtowe Borough council at the earliest opportunity.
Broxtowe Borough Council reserves the right to refuse to issue or renew Leisure Cards and refuse admission to facilities and to alter or withdraw the Leisure Card membership at any time without refund.
Broxtowe Leisure Card customers must present their Leisure Card at reception on every visit. The Broxtowe Leisure Card must be available for inspection at any time. If it cannot be produced or is in any way not valid the full price of the activity must be paid without right or refund.
All Leisure Card holders must allow an electronic photograph of the applicant to be taken and held on the Council's membership system. The Leisure Card photograph must at all times be a true likeness of the holder. In the event in a change in the appearance of the cardholder, the Council reserves the right to request a new photograph to be taken.
Any breach of these conditions will render the Leisure Cardholder liable to forfeiture.
Concessions may not apply in the following circumstances:
1. Group bookings or room hire
2. When a person entitled to the concessionary rates shares an activity with a non-eligible person (i.e. squash, badminton)
3. Courses
4. Sports Pitches
5. Other items as specified in the published price lists
6. Ad hoc activities that may not take place at all sites
Student applicants may be required to provide proof of full-time status. We have the right to refuse a concessionary membership where we suspect students are not in full-time education.
Standard session times must be adhered to and may be limited to one session during peak times.
Broxtowe Leisure Card customers wishing to use the fitness suite and health and fitness classes must be 16 years of age or older (14yr and 15yr olds are able to use the fitness suite but must be accompanied by an inducted adult). Specialist programmed sessions appropriate for 11 to 15 year olds are subject to availability.
Broxtowe Leisure Card customers must abide by all programming arrangements. Use of facilities is subject to opening hours, programming, availability and booking requirements.
Facilities may be withdrawn or restricted from time to time to perform essential repairs and refurbishment, Where possible two weeks notice will be given. Other sites in the Borough may provide the same or similar facilities.
Broxtowe Borough council reserves the right to amend or cancel the programme of activities and sessions at Leisure and Culture Sites.
Prices will be subject to periodic review.
The Broxtowe Leisure scheme cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.
Broxtowe Borough Council reserves the right to amend terms, conditions and policies.
Lost, Stolen and Damaged Cards. A charge will be made for replacement cards, unless being replaced through normal wear and tear, then a replacement card will be issued free of charge.
No refunds for Broxtowe Leisure Cards will be given. No refunds will be given for the unavailability of any activity/facility/class/equipment or limited sessions at busy or holiday periods.
The monthly Vitality Health and Fitness Membership is subject to 30 days notice of cancellation.
Direct Debit Collections. For memberships taken out from the 1st to the 15th of the month payments will be collected on the 5th, for memberships taken out between the 16th and the end of the month payments will be collected on the 20th.

Cancellations
Non attendance of any activity or session booking or cancellation on the day will be chargeable. we reserve the right to charge the full rate for any booking that is not cancelled or not attended. this applies to all categories of membership including Vitality Health and Fitness.

Liability and Lockers
All belongings should be kept in lockers since facilities for storing personal belongings in the fitness suite are limited and unsecured. Broxtowe Borough Council accepts no responsibility whatsoever for customer's property.
