**IMPORTANT NEWS** - From 1 January 2024 new car parking charges have come in to effect in the Borough of Broxtowe.
Please note:
- New charges will apply from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday inclusive at most car parks
- Free parking for 1 hour will no longer be available during the charging period
- Free parking for Blue Badge holders provided a valid Blue Badge and time clock set to the time of arrival are clearly displayed in the vehicle
- All Pay & Display machines take coins however, the PayByPhone option is available as an alternative method of payment. For more information about PayByPhone and to download the app, please go to the PayByPhone official webpage

The Council have been made aware of potential scams in relation to paying for parking charges and would advise customers and visitors paying for a parking session electronically to be vigilant and follow the advice below:

- Download the official approved App: Ensure you're getting the genuine app by downloading directly from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
- Visit a trusted website: Access the service through their official sites: PayByPhone official webpage.
- Phone payments: Use their automated service via the number displayed on parking machines or dial 0330 400 7275 directly.
