Mayor’s Christmas Appeal

The Mayor of Broxtowe, Councillor David Grindell, has officially launched his 2022 Christmas Appeal.

Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe, Councillor David Grindell is asking those residents who can, to donate from the list of festive items below so that we can ensure that those using foodbanks this year receive some festive treats along withThe Mayor's Christmas Appeal 2022 www.broxtowe.gov.uk/mayorschristmasappeal their usual packages.

Councillor Grindell says: “Christmas is coming, and for many it will be very difficult because of increasing food and energy prices and we all are concerned about the future.

I know how successful and generous those of you who took part in both the 2020 and 2021 appeal were, and as Christmas is a time of giving I am asking you again to show that we are a caring community, and to make sure that no one will go hungry in Broxtowe this Christmas.”

We are working with local foodbanks and schools across the Borough, and we are asking you to donate any of the following items to help the appeal by 2nd December to any of the foodbanks listed below.
