As 2021 draws to an end, Broxtowe would like to invite you to learn and participate in the season of lights celebration which marks significant joyous events taking place throughout our diverse community.

Throughout November and December you can find out more about the below season of light celebrations, as we share more information on our webpages and on our social media channels.


Diwali marks the largest Indian Holiday, coinciding with the Hindu New year and celebrated by Hindus, Sikh’s and Jains. 


Hanukkah, also known as the festival of light, celebrates the rededication of the Holy temple and the miracles of faith. 


Christmas is a time of celebrating the birth of Jesus for Christians, as well as a secular holiday, marking the the coming of light and longer days.
