Salary: £28,000 per annum. (Grade 6 including market supplement of £4,253).

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our successful ICT team as an ICT Technical Support Officer located at Beeston supporting approximately 550 Users across the Council.

Do you have the ability to own, diagnose, record and resolve user problems and technical faults quickly and accurately?

The post holder will need to be able to provide effective and efficient support to the Council’s internal customers and provide support for our Datacentre consisting of Virtual Infrastructure and SAN technologies.

If you can demonstrate that you have worked in a customer focused ICT environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills this could be the job for you.

You will need to have previous experience in Microsoft Windows 10, MS Office including Outlook, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SCCM, SQL, IIS, Cloud and VMware. Any experience of Council business systems would be advantageous.

Additional responsibilities include providing technical support for applications at server, CISCO network switch and router level, including system upgrades and project work.

This role is varied and exciting offering the right candidate a great career opportunity; you may have the necessary experience but are keen to enhance your understanding and experience within a small knowledgeable team.

IT qualifications, Customer Services training and ITIL Foundation are desirable.
