Salary: £21,399 - £22,658 per annum

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our ICT team as a 2nd Line ICT Technical Support Officer located at Beeston supporting approximately 550 Users across the Council.

Do you have the ability to own, diagnose and resolve user problems and technical faults quickly and accurately?

The post holder will need to be able to provide an effective and efficient 2nd line support service to the Council’s internal customers and provide support for our Datacentre consisting of Virtual Infrastructure and SAN technologies.

If you can demonstrate that you have worked in a customer focused environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills this could be the job for you.

You will need to have previous experience in Microsoft Windows 7, MS Office 2010 including Outlook 2010, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SCCM, SQL, IIS, and ideally experience of Council used software applications.

Additional responsibilities include providing 2nd line support for applications at server, CISCO network switch and router level, including system upgrades and project work.

IT qualifications, Customer Services training and ITIL Foundation are desirable.
