The role of the Homelessness Prevention Officer is to interview, assess and identify prevention options for people while working collaboratively with housing and homelessness services, supported accommodation, social care and other relevant stakeholders.

This role can be demanding but rewarding, providing a real opportunity to help people in need access the services they require. A key part of this role is to carry out assessments making appropriate enquiries to determine the available options for the individual.
