Salary: £21,221 per year – Grade 3 37 hours per week

You will be responsible for supervising swimmers in the pools, assisting with the day to day running of the centre, ensuring health, safety and well-being of customers and the smooth operation and cleanliness of the facility. Your duties will include lifeguarding and supervising pool activities; assisting with general cleaning duties around the centre; preparing the facility for operation. You will be in the front line of customer service, providing advice and information, helping customers participate and generally providing a high level of service.

It is essential that applicants are in possession of a current, valid RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

You should aspire to attain new qualifications, have a passion for sports and fitness and demonstrate a genuine desire to develop, help and support others. Excellent communication skills with a professional approach and be willing to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. You must be flexible to work shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends, which are integral to the job.

Liberty Leisure Limited is a wholly owned Local Authority Trading Company of Broxtowe Borough Council with services including Sports Development (Get Active), community events team, three Leisure Centres and the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace museum.

Bramcote is a large leisure centre with three swimming pools, spa, modern 75 station gym (Technogym), two exercise studios, a cycling studio and training studio.
