We are the hub for many people in our community with more than 1,720,000 attendances to our services each year. We are committed to developing our teams and the opportunities that we provide for our customers and see this role as being integral to achieving this.

About the job

The company delivers fitness and leisure opportunities within a competitive market place throughout the Borough of Broxtowe to the west of Nottingham.

While our existing leisure business is thriving it is important that we continue to develop our services so that we are well placed for the challenges of the future. The Business Development Officer post is integral to this aim and will be in a position to influence and implement new ideas that will directly improve opportunities that we provide to our customers.

Our company is also working on a programme of developments to diversify the business to provide new services that are not directly leisure provision but complement our existing provision. This work will provide the new post holder with the opportunity to work on new projects and develop relationships with partners who may be new to the business.

The ideal person for the job?

We want someone with excellent communication skills, with the desire and ability to contribute to the growth of our existing business whilst leading on the development of new opportunities. The right person is someone who is logical, can communicate their ideas clearly and work independently to deliver agreed actions on time.

Working environment
