Salary: £22,427 - £23,747 per annum - Grade 6.

Broxtowe Borough Council is situated in the heart of the East Midlands, only minutes away from the City of Nottingham.  The Borough has a diverse range of communities from dynamic city suburbs to historic mining towns and rural villages.

Candidates must successfully undergo the vetting process by Nottinghamshire Police as the role is based within Police Stations.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic professional able to use a wide range of communication and personal skills to engage with minority and hard to reach groups and with an excellent knowledge of interventions available to resolve community tensions, reduce hate crime and promote community cohesion.

You will need to be able to communicate with the general public, partner agencies and Members of the Council in a tactful and confident manner and be able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving.

You must have excellent organisational skills working in a team and on your own initiative and you must be willing to work flexibly as out of hours work may be required based on service delivery needs.
