Salary: £40,107 - £41,886 per annum. Designated car user allowance.

As well as delivering high quality frontline services the Council is committed to being carbon net zero by 2027. We are looking for the right person to join our team to help us achieve our goals.

You will see from the job description that the role entails the management and delivery of the key frontline services including waste and recycling, street cleansing and Neighbourhood Warden service. The role will also make a significant contribution towards managing and monitoring the Council’s commitment and progress on Climate Change.    

You will be need to be enthusiastic about the environment and show a real commitment and interest in the services which the role is responsible for together with experience of working in a relevant environmental discipline.

The role is primarily based at our Kimberley Depot, although you will be expected to attend meetings at other council sites, including some evening Committee and community meetings. Some of the role may be able to be undertaken from home in conjunction with service delivery requirements
