Salary: £20,015 - £21,331 per annum

Based at Kimberley Depot the Council is seeking to recruit an Arborist/Grounds Maintenance Operative as part of two man team.

The team will have a wide range of responsibilities working predominantly throughout the year on small and medium sized trees in the boroughs parks and open spaces, housing amenity areas and other landscaped areas.

During the peak summer growing period the team will assist with general Grounds Maintenance duties involving grass cutting, shrub pruning, hedge maintenance and weed-killing.  

You should have a good arboricultural knowledge with a range of general grounds maintenance skills including pruning, felling, tree climbing and hold a full range of NPTC qualifications and pesticide certificates. The post holder will require a full driving licence, and hold categories C1 and E.
