Salary: £20,015 - £21,331 pro rata per annum. 22.5 hours per week

We are seeking a confident, professional and self-motivated individual with good oral and written communication who can work with a dedicated professional team delivering quality parks and green spaces throughout the borough.

Working alongside the Conservation and Green Spaces Development Manager your role will be to deliver a mix of hard landscaping, engineering and drainage projects.

You will also be required to design and produce interpretation and signage projects. Previous projects have included the Erewash Valley Trail and the Broxtowe County Trail. 

A key element of the job is to assist in the management of the Council’s Structural Assets undertaking inspections and actions to ensure structures are maintained and safe.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the environment, have good experience in landscape and drainage projects and be proficient in using Auto CAD. With the ability to work on your own initiative with accuracy and attention to detail, you will assist the team with day to day customer enquiries and support the many varied tasks linked to producing and managing project documentation and other general administrative duties.

The post will be based in the offices at our Kimberley Depot with access to a range of shops and other facilities.
