This is a great opportunity to join an award winning supportive team designing and delivering diverse projects including new housing, extensions, alterations together with work to the council’s public buildings and commercial building programme.
We are seeking a confident, professional and self-motivated individual who has good oral and written communication who can work within a small dedicated professional team. This is a challenging role in our Capital Works Team ensuring our building portfolio best meets the needs of people in the borough of Broxtowe.
Broxtowe Borough Council lies to the west of the City of Nottingham with its main offices in Beeston. The Borough has a diverse range of communities from dynamic city suburbs to historic mining towns and rural villages.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the built environment and be fully proficient in using AutoCAD and have the opportunity to develop Revit skills. With a strong ability to work on your own initiative with accuracy and attention to detail you will work through from feasibility to project completions. You will also assist with customers day to day enquiries, and support the many varied tasks linked to producing and managing project documentation and other general administrative duties.
The post will be based in newly refurbished offices in Beeston Town Centre with access to a diverse range of supermarkets, shops, professional services, cafes and restaurants.
