Salary: £20,565 - £21,918 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to work within the Council’s Environment Department. 

As well as providing day to day support for the functions of the Environment Department the role will assist in service planning and will lead on key areas such as the annual garden waste service.  The post holder will be the service lead within the Environment Department on the Councils corporate customer service system, as well as the integrated waste management system.  The ability to learn and have a good understanding of ICT systems is a prerequisite of the role.

The ability to collate and analyse data in support of performance management, in conjunction with project management is a key part of the role..

The post is based at Kimberley Depot, though there are opportunities for agile working.

All training on the systems will be provided.

The ideal candidate would have experience in:

  • Working in a customer focused environment
  • Using a wider range ICT packages and possess good ICT skills
  • Workload planning with good organisational skills
  • Working with the general public
  • Producing structured and detailed reports
  • Working with different stakeholders
  • Project delivery
