Salary: £23,707 - £25,175 per annum. Temporary period for 2 years.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in working within an exciting legal team in local government.

The role of Legal Officer will focus on non-contentious work including, but exclusively, the purchase and sale and property; considering title and preparing report on title as well as drafting legal agreements to include licences and leases; completing all of the Council’s first registrations and supporting leaseholder enquiries.

You must be well organised, articulate with good communication skills and a good educational background and have the ability to work to legal time limits and with minimal supervision. Experience in working in conveyancing/land law in practice is essential. You must either be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive.
