Description

A major Local Nature Reserve and Community Green Flag site. It is managed in partnership with the local Friends Group. Home of the mining headstocks with a series of footpaths which link to the local rights of way network. It's a very popular site which has benefited from the increased capital spending, changes in maintenance regimes, and the works of the Friends Group in recent years.
