Core Strategy Submission June 2013

Core Strategy Submission June 2013

The Broxtowe Borough Aligned Core Strategy was submitted to the Secretary of State on 7th June 2013. The Council has been working together with Gedling Borough and Nottingham City Councils, and Broxtowe's Strategy therefore forms part of the Greater Nottingham Aligned Core Strategies. It has policies to protect the environment whilst dealing with demand for new housing, jobs, transport, schools, shops and other facilities.

The documents under the Documents section, include a letter that has been sent to everyone who has made previous comments or representations on the Aligned Core Strategy, giving a summary of the process, and an accompanying Notice of Submission, which details the availability of documents. The links on this page give access to information about previous stages in the production of the Aligned Core Strategy.

What happens next?

Following the hearings, the Inspector will produce a report which will advise whether or not the Aligned Core Strategy is 'sound' (i.e. satisfactory) and therefore whether or not the Council can adopt it.
