Entrepreneurs Wanted for New Bramcote Hills Park Project

06/06/2016 - Local business and groups are invited to take advantage of an exciting opportunity to set up catering and toilet facilities at one of Broxtowe Borough Council's most popular parks.

The Council is inviting businesses, social enterprise groups, catering companies and local people to express their interest in the project and submit proposals for providing catering and toilet facilities at Bramcote Hills Park.

The Park is one of the Borough's most popular parks, with a large play area, ornamental gardens, extensive woodlands and open parkland. It attracts many thousands of visitors a year and has been awarded a Green Flag, the national award for quality parks, for the last 10 years.

"It has been a long term aspiration of the Council to have catering and toilet facilities located at this very popular park and we know that it is an important issue for our residents. Offering new facilities such as these will help us to further improve the high quality of the park for the enjoyment of local people in the future and we are keen to hear from anyone who has a proposal to put forward," said Councillor Shane Easom, Chair of the Leisure, Parks and Cemeteries Committee.

The closing date for receipt of expressions of interest is 12 noon on Friday 30th September 2016.

Interested parties should contact email env@broxtowe.gov.uk to receive further information, together with details of the information that needs to be submitted as part of any expression of interest.
