Who Runs The Country - You Decide!

27/4/2017 - Broxtowe residents are being urged to register to vote so they can have their say in the Parliamentary Election which will take place on Thursday 8 June.

Anyone who is eligible to vote has until Monday 22 May to register. Registering is simple to complete in just a few minutes online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or check if you are on the register or not at www.broxtowe.gov.uk/registrationcheck

If you are eligible to vote in the election and are already registered, there’s no need to register again.

Anyone wishing to apply for a postal vote is asked to do so as soon as possible before the deadline. The deadline for postal votes is 5.00pm Tuesday 23 May.

Depending on when applications are received, postal ballot papers are expected to be posted on the follow dates:

New applications received by 10 May 2017 On or around Tuesday 23 May 2017
New applications received after 10 May 2017 and before the postal vote application deadline at 5:00pm on Tuesday 23 May 2017 On or around Tuesday 30 May 2017
