Community Urged To Have Their Say On The Future Of Beeston Town Hall
The consultation, which is available online (Opens in a New Window) is open until 15th January and asks local people to choose one of three options put forward by the Council for the future of the building.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Richard Jackson said:
"We know that the Town Hall is an important building to many people but as the Council continues to face financial challenges, difficult decisions have to be made in order to ensure we can still provide frontline services for our residents. Reviewing our buildings and how they are utilised is one of the ways we are trying to address these challenges."
"In the survey, we’ve tried to put the local community in our shoes and see the difficult choice we’re faced with. Their views are important to us so I’d urge everyone in the area to get online and complete the consultation."
For anyone who doesn’t have internet access, comments can also be sent in writing to Estates, Council Offices, Foster Avenue, Beeston, NG9 1AB.
