- Pride of Broxtowe Borough Award – This award will be presented to a nominee that deserves special recognition for the outstanding contribution they have made to the community, chosen by the judges.
Leader of Broxtowe Borough Council, Councillor Richard Jackson said:
"Last year’s awards were a great success with over 900 nominations for local people who make Broxtowe a great place to live, work and spend leisure time. If you know someone or a local organisation or business who make a different to the community in our Borough then please do nominate them so we can give them the recognition they deserve. I’m already looking forward to reading through the entries as part of the judging panel."
Nominations can be made on the Nottingham Post website at www.nottinghampost.com/bestofbroxtoweborough. Closing date is on Friday 5th May 2017.
Three finalists will be shortlisted in each category, then invited to a prestigious awards ceremony at the Walled Garden, Beeston Fields Golf Club on Thursday 8th June.
