Halloween Fun at the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum

22/10/18 - Something wicked this ways comes to the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum, with a variety of seasonal activities on offer in the run up to Halloween. Why not have a go at our FREE drop-in autumn craft activities, including making paper plate owls and leaf wreaths.

Halloween pumpkin at D.H. Lawrence Birthplace MuseumWe are also running a FREE drop-in Children’s Trail throughout the downstairs of the Museum during October half term. Follow the witches around the Museum and discover Victorian Halloween superstitions.

These activities are available now, until Saturday 3rd November, so drop in anytime between 10.00am and 4.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday, for the free autumn crafts and the Halloween trail.

The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday, in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. Visitors are transported back in time to view the authentically restored Victorian miner’s cottage, home of the world renowned author.
