    28/02/19 - On Sunday 24th February the Mayor of Broxtowe was joined by volunteers from the Friends of Brinsley Headstocks and the Practical Conservation Volunteers to plant woodland wildflowers on the Green Flag award winning Brinsley Headstocks Local Nature Reserve as part of the Broxtowe Borough Council Clean and Green initiative.

  • Volunteers Help Improve Watnall Spinney For Wildlife And The Local Community

    28/02/19 - On Tuesday 26th February the Mayor of Broxtowe was joined by volunteers from the Friends of Watnall Green and Spinney and the Practical Conservation Volunteers to undertake woodland management and pond clearing in the Watnall Spinney Local Nature Reserve, as part of the Broxtowe Borough Council Clean and Green initiative.

    19/02/19 - Eastwood’S D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum is one of 76 attractions that have been awarded a prestigious VisitEngland accolade. Following the successful assessment of the site, which resulted in the VisitEngland accreditation and a 100% score for the Front of House staff, the Museum has received a Welcome award.
