Broxtowe Borough Council has organised five bulky waste days across the Borough as part of its Clean and Green campaign to help tidy up the Borough.

Chair of the Leisure and Environment Committee, Councillor Shane Easom said: “We know that in some areas, it’s not always easy to get to a recycling site to dispose of bulky items so we hope that these bulky waste days will help residents get rid of their unwanted items more easily and help reduce the chances of them being fly tipped.

The bulky waste days will take place on the following dates:

  • Toton – Saturday 2nd March, 8.00am until 1.00pm at Greenwood Community Centre
  • Stapleford – Saturday 2nd March, 8.00am until 1.00pm at Victoria Street Car Park
  • Trowell – Saturday 2nd March, 8.00am until 1.00pm at Trowell Parish Hall
  • Brinsley – Saturday 9th March, 8.00am until 1.00pm at Brinsley Parish Hall
  • Eastwood – Saturday 9th March, 8.00am until 1.00pm at Mansfield Road Recreation Ground Car Park

Residents must bring their bulky waste to the collection site to have it removed by the Council.
