Eastwood is in for a Spooktacular treat

11/10/2019 - Wrap up warm and head down to Coronation Park, Eastwood on Friday 1st November for Eastwood Spooktacular Fireworks, a brand new event brought to you by Eastwood Community Football Club and L Leisure Events. Bring along the whole family for a fantastic evening of fireworks, fire displays, fairground rides, a pumpkin parade and much more.

Jack O LanternThe fun begins at 5.30pm with a spectacular fire spinning and fire breathing performance. At 6.15pm, children who have taken part in the Spooktacular Pumpkin Carving workshops at the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum will be showcasing their spooky masterpieces with a pumpkin parade through the park.  Other children are welcome to join the parade with their own carved pumpkins lit with LED tea lights. To be part of the parade make sure you meet in the car park of at Eastwood Community Football Club at 6pm. Why not get in the spirit of the season and dress up in your most spooktacular Halloween attire. 

The firework display will begin at 7pm, followed by live music from the fantastic ‘Urban Intro’ at The Venue in Eastwood Community Football Club ground.  There will be a selection of children’s fairground rides for the little ones to enjoy and hot food and drink to keep you feeling warm on the night. In addition, Eastwood Community Football Club’s bars will be open throughout the event.

Tickets for this Spooktacular event can be purchased online at www.lleisure.co.uk/events/spooktacular. Advance admission is just £2.50 for adults and 50p for children. Tickets can also be purchased on the gate (subject to availability). Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that Coronation Park will be closed to the public on the day of the event due to safety considerations. There will be two entrances to the event via Nottingham Road and Chewton Street.  There is no public parking on site. However, there are a number of public car parks in Eastwood Town centre.
