We have seen first-hand communities pulling together to make sure residents are cared for and not forgotten about, even our younger residents worked hard to keep people’s spirits up as they saw the creative creations of Rainbows of Hope in windows. This week will allow us to say thank you as we know that everyone has played a part in this.”

Deputy Leader of the Council, Councillor Steve Carr said: “We know that the pandemic has brought some very difficult challenges, but the residents and businesses of Broxtowe, as well as our own Council  employees have really risen to the challenge and I am very proud of everyone. Thank You Week is the perfect time to highlight the many people across our communities that have gone above and beyond and I can’t wait to hear more stories.’
