Beeston Business Hub Welcomes Two New Businesses

10/02/20 - A new business has moved into Beeston Business Hub, a unique Council initiative to transform flats above retail space in the town centre.

David Newman of Sisu Emotional Health and Coaching, has moved in and is already seeing the benefits of the Hub.

David joins Precise HR, Create Animate and K Creations in the hub, on the corner of Station Road. The hub provides new and expanding businesses that want to grow, but may not be able to afford full rent, with desk space and a base to work from. Councillor Tim Hallam and David Newman

Chair of the Jobs and Economy Committee, Councillor Tim Hallam said: “It’s a huge priority of this council to support and promote local businesses, giving them every opportunity to thrive within our Borough. It’s great to see that all of the offices are now in use, providing 8 new businesses with the ideal premises to maximise their potential. We are already working to expand this scheme and I look forward to further successes”. 9 new offices will also be soon available in Stapleford. David, “It’s an ideal location for my business. I am a stone’s throw away from the centre of Beeston as well as being well connected to wider Nottinghamshire with the tram and bus links. The rent is very reasonable and having the local authority as a landlord has meant the property is well maintained so I can focus on my business. I am really looking forward to the new development that is happening just behind the office. It’s a fantastic opportunity that I just couldn’t afford to miss.”

The Council will be providing Case Studies of the businesses using the Hub in the coming months to help other new start-up businesses understand the benefits of network working.

The shared space also offers fantastic networking opportunities with other businesses in the hub.

The space is fully kitted out with:

  • Kitchen (including appliances)
  • Wi-Fi
  • Meeting/Break out Area
  • WC
  • Communal Outdoor Space

Anyone interested in renting in the Hub should contact Rebecca Ogden on 0115 917 3826 or by emailing For more information on the Hub visit
