Broxtowe Borough Council Offices Closed To The Public – Services Remain Open

23/03/20 - Broxtowe Borough Council is temporarily changing its face to face services to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In line with the current advice from Government around social distancing, the Council will be closing its Offices on Foster Avenue, Beeston, to the public from Tuesday 24th March until further notice.

Residents are encouraged to use alternative methods to do business with us, such as online or over the phone. If this is not possible, please contact us directly so we can discuss this with you.

Public toilets will also be closed from tomorrow.

Leader of Broxtowe Borough Council, Councillor Milan Radulovic MBE said: “This decision has not been taken lightly but we have now reached a point where we must do everything we can to limit face to face contact and reduce the risk of Coronavirus spreading amongst the local community and our employees. Whilst our Offices are closed to the public, Council Officers remain hard at work and focused on continuing to provide our critical services for residents.”

Deputy Leader of the Council, Councillor Steve Carr added: “This is a difficult time for us all and we are very grateful to everyone for their patience whilst we work to respond to the pandemic in the best way possible. It has never been more important for residents to follow Government advice by social distancing and staying at home as much as possible – it will help save lives.''
