1/9/2023 - Broxtowe Borough Council marked Merchant Navy Day by raising the Red Ensign flag in a special flag raising ceremony on Friday 1 September 2023.

Nuthall man fined for allowing dogs to cause noise nuisance
29/08/23 - Broxtowe Borough Council have successfully prosecuted a Nuthall man for allowing his dogs to cause severe noise disturbance to local residents. He could now face jail if he breaches a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) that has been secured against him.

23/08/23 - Children and young adults with special needs enjoyed rides at the annual Peter Barrett Special Needs Fair at Bramcote Hills Park for free, thanks to the generosity of the fair owner Michael McKean, his fellow Nottingham Freemasons, the Showmen and Broxtowe Borough Council.

An exciting project to develop a new skatepark in Stapleford starts this summer
15/08/23 - On Saturday the 19 August, join us at Hickings Lane Recreation Ground, Stapleford, (NG9 8PB), at the former skatepark site, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. This free event will include beginners’ skateboard coaching sessions alongside pop-up skatepark obstacles for all to use.
