Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe, Councillor Teresa Cullen said “My working background is in the voluntary and charity sector and so I know on a first-hand basis how incredibly crucial and valuable the work undertaken by volunteers within Broxtowe is. We are so very lucky to have such a wonderful community that is filled with volunteers both young and old who generously give up their time on a regular basis. They deserve to be recognised and to have an evening celebrating them.”
The nomination form is open until Sunday 17 September and the event will be held on 2 November with tickets available to purchase from Monday 18 September. You can find out more information and make your nomination at www.broxtowe.gov.uk/broxtowevoluntaryawards
