Information about the 2018 OVO Energy Tour of Britain, which will take in parts of Broxtowe Borough in September.

Tour of BritainBritain's biggest free-to-attend sporting event is once again coming to Nottinghamshire. The Nottinghamshire stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain 2018 will take place on 8 September.

The route will travel through parts of Watnall, Greasley and Morgreen. 

 


Things to see and do

The Tour will take in parts of Watnall, Greasley and Moorgreen which are surrounded by lots of beautiful countryside including local nature reserves Colliers Wood, Watnall Spinney and Watnall Green, which are ideal of an afternoon walk or cycle. There is also the Broxtowe Country Trail and Erewash Valley Trail nearby.  

 

How can you get involved?

Line the streets to give the riders a rousing welcome to our Borough or decorate the front of your shop or home in celebration of the event.
