Beeston Tales: Anston Lines

Beeston Tales: Anston Lines

The very best of contemporary storytelling for an adult audience

7:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Beeston Tales: Anston Lines event.

On Wednesday 13th March Beeston Tales presents Simon Heywood with the eerily unsettling Anston Lines. Anston Line tells a tale of shadows of a troubled past falling on a young married couple as they set up their first home together, stirring echoes of old legends and history which threaten the deceptive tranquillity which surrounds them, and leading their steps towards the mysterious overgrown ruins of Anston Line. Anston Line is a homage to the legends and songs of the old borderlands of the north-east midlands of England; and a song of remembrance for those who fought the bitter night to earn their daily bread, to create the world we now call our own. Wednesday 13th March, 7.30 pm at The White Lion, Beeston. Tickets £6 in advance, £7 on the door, available from The White Lion, or online at . Inclusive tapas and tales ticket £12, available only in advance from The White Lion. All advanced tickets including meal tickets must be purchased at least 24 hours before the show.
