Description

This year's Broxtowe Community Celebration event will take place on Saturday 06 July at Round Hill School in Beeston. People of all ages, from many different communities and cultures are expected to come together to share music, song, dance, sports, indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, information on various local services and food. This year’s programme includes performances from Chinese, Indian and Russian cultures and songs from around the world sung by a variety of local choirs. Outdoors, a Mobile Climbing Wall, Football Skills, Face Painting, Henna and much more. Inside, Chinese Name Writing, Arts & Crafts, Derbyshire Well Dressing, Caribbean Fruit Tasting and also snacks from around the world. This is also an opportunity to find out more about how to access local services and how to have a voice in your community by visiting the many different stalls present on the day.
