Post Ref: T96a - Part Time Repairs Customer Services Officer

Salary: £26,889 - £28,320 pro rota. Grade 5 Part time 18.5 hours over Monday, Tuesday and Friday

We are looking for a Repairs Customer Services Officer to join our new Housing Repairs Customer Services Team who will be dealing with reports of repairs from the Council’s 4,300 properties. This will primarily include answering telephone calls and dealing with emails and repairs reported online.

You will work to deliver quality outcomes for tenants, leaseholders, as well as other internal and external stakeholders in delivery of responsive repairs. 

You will be supported by a Repairs Customer Services Team Leader who will provide advice and training for you to succeed in this new role.

 We’re looking for an individual who has experience of:

  • Working in a customer services environment
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues from other departments
  • Can work to deadlines.

The ideal candidate will: 

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have strong ICT skills
  • Be enthusiastic and self-motivated

Have a flexible approach to meet the needs of a demanding service.
