Housing Delivery Test
The Housing Delivery Test (HDT) was introduced by government to calculate the extent to which local authorities are meeting the housing delivery targets in their area. Local planning authorities that fail to meet delivery rate targets are required to take action to address under delivery.
2022 Housing Delivery Test
The most recent Housing Delivery Test results were published in January 2022. Broxtowe achieved 85% of the number of homes required, based on the Standard Methodology. This triggered the need for the Council to produce another Action Plan to identify actions to address under delivery.
