Community Cohesion

Broxtowe is home to many diverse communities that make up the fabric of this borough, whilst also facing their own unique challenges.

As such we want to encourage all individuals to align their values of equal and fair living by learning more about one another, to help build a more tolerant and understanding living space for all.

On this page you will find useful links which will increase your knowledge on various communities as well as help and advice on ways to improve community cohesion.

What is Community Cohesion?

Building cohesive communities brings huge benefits by creating a society in which people from different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds can live and work together in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
