Information on the contaminated land regime in the Borough of Broxtowe

Contaminated land is any land which is in such a condition, due to the substances in, on, or under the land, that significant harm is being caused or there is a significant possibility of harm being caused to people, wildlife, or water supplies.

While there are no sites within the Borough of Broxtowe, if a site of contaminated land is identified, we must ensure it is managed in an appropriate manner.
